Overview

The Research Coordinator plays a pivotal role within ATI and in support of the Institute for Musculoskeletal Advancement, specifically supporting the research efforts of the Clinical Excellence Department and IMSKA Research Fellows. This role is central to enhancing research outputs and fostering innovation in the field of musculoskeletal health.

Responsibilities

• Research Project Management: Provide comprehensive support; assist in the execution of studies including development of manuscripts leading to publication and disseminate evidence via omni channel communications
• People Leadership: Collaborate with ATI and iMSKA leadership to establish a consistent, scalable approach to management of Research Fellows; including the development and dissemination of departmental communication and coordination and assessment of Fellow deliverables.
• Database Management: Manage iMSKA clinical databases ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and relevance of data analyses that uphold the core values of iMSKA. Collaborate with ATI and iMSKA leadership to establish iterative data QA process.
• Strategic Communication: Serve as a dependable resource for preparing routine deliverables, and communicating findings effectively to the ATI and iMSKA leadership teams, as well as cross-functional support teams.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate meticulously with both internal and external stakeholders, expectations are aligned and deliverables are completed timely.
• Funding: Assists with ongoing grant submissions, auditing, and reporting.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Required:
• Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., clinical, public health, health services research, epidemiology) with a focus on musculoskeletal health preferred.
Preferred:
• Terminal research degree (PhD, DSc, etc)

 

Minimum Experience
Required:
• 2 years of experience in research with involvement in multiple research lines
Preferred:
• 5+ years of experience conducting research in musculoskeletal healthcare delivery or a related field, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
• Publication record demonstrating contributions to peer-reviewed journals or other scholarly outlets.
• Experience securing research funding through grants or contracts is desirable.

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of business intelligence/data visualization techniques and software (e.g., Tableau, R Shiny) to communicate research findings effectively.
• Proficiency with Project Management techniques with certification preferred
