Overview

Title:          Training & Development Specialist - AWS

Location:    Remote with up to 50% travel.

Status:       Full Time

 

 

AWS Training and Development Specialist demonstrates expertise in the delivery of injury prevention and/or occupational clinical service lines. Refine and deliver AWS training programs, staff development, and assist with new program/new client rollout. Travel required for staff onboarding. During gaps in coverage, provide fill in work. Participate in special internal committees as member or leader.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of training and development resources and processes, new hire and clinical training execution, and on-going development of all staff throughout AWS
• Support and provide subject matter expertise in new hire and new program rollouts through coordination of training, fostering standardization, preparing staff for service delivery, developing staff for audit processes, and levering rollout resources for best practice
• Perform clinic, program, and documentation audits based on best practice guidelines; monitor, support, and champion clinical and skills competencies, corrective actions, and continuous improvement change management initiatives.
• Provide temporary coverage when gaps occur in fulltime positions

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
Preferred:
 
Minimum Experience
Required:
• 4 years’ experience in the industrial setting or 7 years’ experience in a professional setting
Preferred:
• > 2 years’ experience in training and development 
 
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• The ability to independently assess new site needs and direct the set up.
• Ability to document professionally, create client facing communication
• Ability to communicate with site leadership verbally, to include in large group meetings
• Ability to travel to client locations 
 
Licenses and Certifications
Required:
• Certified/Licensed AT, PTA, or RN 
• CPR
